Did Linda Ikeji Just Report Wizkid To The Police?


It seems that the war between popular blogger, Linda Ikeji and music sensation is far from over if the new reports we have are any indication. It would be recalled that some few weeks ago, the social media was thrown into a frenzy when the two celebs got into a beef after Linda posted about Wizkid being evicted from his Lekki abode in Lagos.
Wizkid who as at the time was in Congo then went on a social media rant in which he cursed Linda and her family and also threatened to have her beating. In his words, he would have his 16 year old cousin beat the blogger if he ever sees her. Linda although immune to his insults might have taken his threat seriously because it is being reported that she has now dragged him to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni.
Sources close to the situation say that Wizkid has been issued a summon to see the police but he failed to show up as instructed. His threatening to beat up Linda has legal implications as according to legal practitioners, Section 323 of the criminal code states that ‘Any person who, knowing the contents thereof directly or indirectly causes any person to receive any writing threatening to kill any person is guilty of a felony, and is liable to imprisonment for 7 years.’
Some blogs are also reporting that the singer’s manager, Sunday Are didn’t pick calls or respond to messages as regards the situation while Linda Ikeji herself also refused to comment.
