Job Title: Safety, Health, Environment & Security Supervisor

Reports to: General Manager, Safety, Health, Environment & Security (“SHES”)
Job Purpose/ Key Objectives:
Leadership; Risk Management; and Continuous Improvement:
· Focus constantly on systems effectiveness
· To effectively identify, assess and treat risks related to LEKOIL activities
· To always “Plan-Do-Check-Act”
Implementation:
Logistics:
· Strengthen Logistics SHES support leading to the prevention of motor vehicle/ marine crashes and logistics related recordable incidents in the Company and contractor operations.
· Drive and coordinate compliance with the Logistics SHES standards for Road, Marine, and Lifting & Hoisting in Lekoil and contractor operations.
· Drive and coordinate the delivery of quality SHES expert advice, support and services to the Operations department.
· Act as the champion of the SHES Compliance Management in the Company’s Operations department (regulatory, international industry standards and SHES data monitoring and reporting).
· Monitor and review the SHES performance to achieve the performance commitments and continuous improvement.
Contractor SHES Management:
· Front-line delivery of Lekoil’s Operating Management System framework mandates on the Contractor SHES Management.
· Facilitate gateway controls on Contractor SHES Management in the Company’s operations and projects.
· Drive competence assurance processes of Agreement Monitors (Contract Holders) in the Company.
· Reinforce contract management accountabilities and ensure full integration and compliance with the Contractor SHES Management e.g. IOGP Report no. 423, June 2010 (SHES Management - guidelines for working together in a contract environment).
Principal Accountabilities:
Logistics:
· Custodian for the SHES Standards on road transport, marine logistics, lifting & hoisting.
· Drive and coordinate compliance with the Logistics SHES standards for road, marine, lifting & hoisting including secondary logistics.
· Drive and coordinate delivery of quality SHES expert advice, support and services for secondary logistics.
· Coordinate the collation and analysis of in-vehicle monitoring system data (primary and secondary data).
· Coordinate and stimulate site/ location specific Operating Management System framework implementation tasks.
· Embed learning from incidents, best practices, drive consistency and standardize transportation SHES practices in Lekoil.
· Stimulate continuous SHES risk identification, assessment and reduction in Logistics activities.
· Support SHES assurance processes and the build-up of SHES plans towards the realization of continuous improvement of SHES performance in the Company.
Contractor SHES Management:
· Facilitate Contract SHES Management processes and be a front-end driver for continuous improvement of contractor SHES performance.
· Consultancy support on Contractor SHES Management in Lekoil.
· Maintain the Agreement Monitors (Contract Holders) and Contractor SHES Management competence/ performance database as a corporate reference for the procurement process.
· Provide Quality Assurance/ Quality Control on contract clauses and Contractor SHES Management and performance information.
· Formulate SHES learning interventions to support Agreement Monitors and contractors.
· Evaluate and trend analysis of monthly/ quarterly contractor SHES performance.
· Coordinate 'Vendor Capability Assessments' for contracts.
· Perform all other duties that are necessary and reasonably attached to this SHE Supervisor position and the fulfillment of its responsibilities.
· Any other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager, SHES.
Job Knowledge, Skills, Educational Requirement:
· Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Engineering.
· Professional certification in Safety, Health, Environment, and Security
· Experience
· 10-years post-graduate experience in SHES, including 8 years of Exploration & Production (“E & P”) exposure.
· Experience in contract management, coupled with senior level consulting skills.
· Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
· Seasoned HSE professional with logistics, HSE risk and/or management experience within an operating company environment of an E & P company.
· Seasoned HSE professional with logistics, HSE risk and/or management experience within an operating company environment of an E & P company.
· Skilled in analyzing and solving problems, communicating and persuading and being personally creative and innovative.
· Good understanding of the business risks.
· Ability to adapt and implement the E & P and International Industry policies, strategies and standards.
