Don Williams, a popular country singer is dead (aged 78)

Don Williams who was born on May 27,1939 at Floydada, Texas, U. S. with a birth name "Donald Ray Williams" and was known for a nickname "Gentle Giant" due to his straight forward, yet smooth bass-baritone voice has died. Don Williams who was a member of the country Music Hall of Fame died on 8th September, 2017 at Mobile, Alabama, U. S. after a short illness. The international country singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who recorded dozens of hit songs, including "Tulsa Time," "Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good" and "It Must Be Love" died at the age of 78.
